This is a highly visible, foundational role that directly reports to the Chief Credit Officer. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has completed a formal credit training program at a top-tier firm and has experience in managing deal process. This role is full time, preferably located in the Bay Area or New York City, but we are open to remote for the right candidate.

What you’ll be doing (i.e. job duties):

Manage end to end investment process from origination through underwriting and monitoringConduct research and provide recommendations on investment opportunities and risk management strategiesCreate and maintain proprietary scoring models to programmatically rate private credit assetsStand up portfolio-management function and lead all aspects of risk monitoring and reportingPartner with Finance and Operations teams to ensure efficient funding operations for new and existing investmentsPartner with Product and GTM teams on strategic and business development projectsPartner with Engineering team to build and maintain internal risk infrastructure, including management of underwriting workflows and loan management systemsWhat we look for in you (i.e. job requirements):

2+ years of credit underwriting experience at a private credit fund, an investment bank, or a similar institution2+ year of three-statement financial modeling experienceAbility to operate in an entrepreneurial environment with limited oversightExcellent investigative, critical thinking, and communication skillsExtreme intellectual and personal integrityNice to haves:

Degree or certificate in a quantitative fieldDemonstrated interest in early-stage startups
