TITLE:
WEST COAST DISTRICT MANAGER
REPORTS TO:
VICE PRESIDENT OF RETAIL
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The West Coast District Manager will drive the business forward by developing, challenging, and empowering Store Managers, General Managers, and Area Managers within their District. This role is responsible for establishing expectations to create consistency in store behaviors and performance. They must understand all geographical markets within their area and create unique strategies to enhance those businesses. The District Manager must exhibit strong leadership skills to recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive sales, profitability, and gross margin growth across the region
Foster a positive work environment that encourages feedback and innovation
Act as a Role Model for all Division leadership and communicate best practices in an effort to create consistency across Division
Communicate in a clear, positive, and professional manner designed to educate, inspire, motivate, and direct behavior of all employees
Develop succession plans for all District reports to create committed teams that will maintain the brand vision and business expectations
Outline a comprehensive recruiting program for management teams to follow and fully staff their doors
Prioritize store performance issues and react to issues directly affecting profitability first
Uphold the integrity of company policies and procedures
Communicate inventory and product needs to support business goals
Utilize ELOISE selling culture and understand the alice + olivia customer by interacting with them on the sales floor and observing shopping behaviors
Continuously evaluate District’s talent and individual performances while providing consistent feedback
Network within the industry and respective markets to prospect favorable partnerships to drive business and in-store events
Remain coachable and open to feedback to continuously develop in your role
Resolve all human resources issues in a timely and professional manner, partnering with the HR team when necessary
Travel to other stores within the District at least 60% of the time
SALARY/BENEFITS:
$115,000-$130,000/yr. plus bonuses
