Job Summary:This position is responsible for overseeing a small recruiting and onboarding team while overseeing the company's recruiting and onboarding processes with a goal of maximizing quality and efficiency in hiring and onboarding. This is a "hands-on" position carrying an open position case load while overseeing the company's recruiting strategies and success.Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years recruiting experience, preferably doing non-agency full life-cycle recruiting.Minimum of 1 year leadership/supervisory/management experience.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required.Demonstrated prioritization and organization skills, with ability to effectively meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines - experience carrying a requisition load of 15+ openings required.Understanding of behavioral interviewing techniques.Ability to travel 5%.Courteous with exemplary customer service orientation and demonstrated listening skills.Self-motivated with demonstrated strong work ethic, the ability to work within tight deadlines, while paying attention to detail while delivering stellar customer service and outcomes.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Proven ability at creative problem solving and innovative thinking.Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changes quickly and think conceptually and execute in a timely manner. Proven ability to respond positively under high pressure and respond with a high sense of urgency. Effective multi-tasker.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Performs work required for this position in an office environment.Remains sedentary for moderate to extended periods of time.Required to use a computer monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on occasion.Occasionally works irregular hours to meet department deadlines, participate in department projects and activities.Reasonable accommodations for disability

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Recruiting:

Develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers providing support to meet hiring goals and metrics. Demonstrate effective business partner role through quickly understanding the business goals, hiring needs and position requirements.Interface directly with hiring managers to ensure recruiting needs are fulfilled and communicate progress on recruiting goals and objectives.Proactively source candidates through active networking, applicant tracking system, professional networks and associations, placing advertisements, cold calling, and creating sourcing methods.Establish and maintain candidate database of pre-qualified candidates to meet current and anticipated business needs.Evaluate each candidate's experience and skill set for abilities and qualifications of each position.Assess culture fit, carefully recommending candidates who align with the company's culture.Coordinate and schedule telephone interviews, in-person interviews, and debrief sessions with interviewers.Utilize Applicant Tracking System (PinPoint) to manage searches and the recruiting process. Enter and update requisitions and resumes, tracking and updating requisitions with a focus on maintaining the integrity of the data.Ensure compliance in the entire process with laws and regulations, including EEO, AAP, & Pay Transparency.Participate in job fairs and career events.Carry a workload of personally recruiting for approximately 15 open positions while supporting a recruiting team working on additional openings. Provide full cycle recruiting and support with a focus on quality of hires and timeliness of hiring process.Conduct personalized interviews via phone, video, and/or in-person to assess candidates for open positions. Summarize candidate's experiences for hiring manager.Enthusiastically provide complete, accurate and motivating information to candidates about the position and company to build excitement about Herr Food's as an employer. Communicate company values, culture, and benefits to candidates. Ensure a positive candidate experience.Manage the offer process, including salary discussions, negotiations, reference checks, offer letter generation, and verbal offer.Shepard candidates through the pre-hire and onboarding process.Design and maintain web portals and develop sourcing strategies.Maximize recruitment tools and networking capabilities to creatively and effectively source and identify talent.Coach hiring managers in best practice and interviewing techniques.Supervisory Oversight of Process:

Build and maintain a professional network internally and within the community.Oversee company's Affirmative Action Efforts.Foster partnerships with diverse sources and agencies.Conduct annual training sessions with hiring managers.Update interview guides as needed.Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes). Develop innovative recruiting strategies for the organization.Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire). Develop and maintain recruitment scorecards and analyze recruitment data as well as monitor employment trends.Prepare recruiting related reports and presentations to update organization on function's effortsReview recruitment software and suggest the best option for the company's needs.Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners.Ensure the applicant tracking database is maintained and updated as needed.Assist with optimization of annual recruiting budget process.Identify difficult job vacancies, investigate and implement the best recruitment strategyProactively recommends and implements process improvement initiatives.Supervisory Oversight of Team:

Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance.

Provide coaching to recruiters and onboarding coordinator by giving feedback & developing plans for employee growth.

Oversees department results by coaching and counseling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Completes annual performance review appraisals.Analyzes departmental problems and concerns and develops and implements new solutions.Leads and positively influences employees towards successful outcomes.
