We bring our own beers together with the best of Connecticut and beyond as well an inspired cocktails and extensive spirits offerings and full kitchen into an amazing environment with an unmatched vibe. Our locations allow our Guests to Craft their own journey with multiple unique experiences under one roof, from relaxed to refined, that appeal to all comers! Our operations are very unique, part taproom, part restaurant, and part entertainment venue. We have a little of something for everyone to enjoy while they enjoy an award winning beer or cocktail!

The private event sales manager reports to the General Manager and leads their Team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where FUN is our favorite word. You set the tone with the best beers, spirits, food and atmosphere to provide an unmatched, shareable, social experience for our Team and guests alike! Responsibilities:

? Field all sales calls and email inquiries with timely and hospitality-driven responses, convert leads to bookings and finalize event contracts

? Connect with local business & community leaders to create and nurture new leads for events

? Work on-site at varying times and hours to accommodate client meetings, tours, walkthroughs, and events

? Coordinate with event guests throughout their booking experience to ensure their needs are met and seamlessly pass event off to the operations team

? Embody the culture of Elicit and help cultivate that mindset in the team for seamless and enjoyable events

? Partner with the General Manager, Head Chef, and Event Coordinator to plan & execute events

? Coordinate and complete banquet event orders (BEOs) and update BEOs as needed

? Support Elicit public relations/outreach efforts in the local community

? Build rapport with clients quickly to foster trust and confidence

? Supply information and content for marketing materials and social media when possible

? Work with a range of client budgets and preferences while maximizing profits

? Conduct all planning appointments including but not limited to: menu revision, floor plan design, construction of itinerary, and scheduling future appointments

? Assist in the design of promotional materials with the Director of Marketing and General Manager

Requirements

Qualifications:

? 4+ years of sales/event experience in a high-volume catering facility or restaurant

? Knowledge of food and beverage safety and permit laws as they apply to offsite catering

? Intuitive understanding of restaurant service and operations

? Experience and ability managing guest issues

? Sales driven nature

? Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing

? Experience with Toast a plus

? Project management skills and a detail-oriented eye

? Excellent organizational and communication skills

? Ability to work both individual and in a team setting

Salary plus commissions, based on experience
