Responsibilities: Job Summary: Assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations within the Cath Lab Job Standards: Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient. Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues. Delegates tasks based on the needs of the patient, potential for harm, patient stability, task complexity, and outcome predictability within the scope of skill set and practice. Participates as a team member by utilizing team skills effectively on a daily basis. Participates in the development of others through mentoring and precepting activities. Takes individual responsibility and accountability for patient/family satisfaction utilizing tools such as nursing bundle, hand off report.
