The HR Manager works collaboratively and supports client groups and department leaders to implement key business initiatives through the delivery of strategic HR services. As a member of our Human Resources Business Partner team, the HR Manager provides guidance to client groups to support and drive HR processes.

Main Responsibilities:

Partners and provides guidance and coaching with client group Sr Leaders and managers.

Support leaders in executing initiatives aimed at improving the organizational health and development for specific business units.

Implement engagement strategies building upon metrics and qualitative data.

Establish contacts across the HR function and HR Generalists to ensure all client group needs are managed in a timely fashion.

Manage and guide the delivery of specific performance actions, including PIPs, disciplinary action, terminations and redeployment. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.

Support HR process alignment by collaborating with HR COE’s to drive consistent execution of HR processes supporting a culture that aligns to Cboe strategy, values and beliefs.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and business partner, taking responsibility for accurately defining the requirements of the role, assisting managers with the selection process and supporting the hiring processes.

Assist employees and managers through HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Supports HR projects as needed.

Job Requirements

Working knowledge of current employment legislation, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, and performance management.

Ability to build collaborative relationships with the business unit managers and others in the HR team.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to championing inclusion and diversity.

Strong computer skills and a working knowledge of MS Office.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with a global team.

Minimum years of work experience required: 7+ years.

Workday experience preferred.

Financial Services experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required.
