Responsible for supporting the day to day client management and administrative activities for assigned book of business. Maintains a working relationship with primary contact for client. Conversant in aspects of client health and benefits lifecycle.Responsibilities:Assists in the servicing of a designated book of business as relating to marketing, claims, and administrationResearches issues’ root cause, implements, and resolves policy related issuesUses discretion and independent judgment when analyzing industry trends and providing related Client guidance.Recommends and implements potential enhancements or improvements to processes, products, and/or policies with oversight from senior team membersAssists in the preparation of financial models and reports for Client and senior staff, provides interpretation and implication of analysis, as well as recommendationsConducts, creates, and interprets benefit benchmarking studies, design plan comparison reports, and Client marketing materialsInterprets Clients’ current coverage plan and identifies and recommends opportunities to expand lines of coverageParticipates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotesAssists in interpreting and evaluating plan offerings to ensure adequate coverage for Client’s identified risk toleranceEstablishes and maintains relationships and interfaces with Clients, carriers, and other vendorsIdentifies gaps in coverage or cross-sell opportunities and provides related recommendations to senior team members.Researches and understands industry trends and Carrier product offerings, emerging trendsSupports team in tracking project progress and timelines, maintaining client files, populating and maintaining open item trackers.Provides BenefitPoint management for client information, interfaces with others where appropriate.Understands governmental compliance/regulations to educate ClientsPerforms other responsibilities and duties as neededQualifications
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalentTypically, 2-4 years of Client services experience is requiredStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills requiredDemonstrates working knowledge and experience within brokerage industryPossesses a working knowledge of support services, including benefits administration, wellbeing solutions, compliance standardsUnderstands industry trends and governmental regulationsAbility to complete continuing education requirements as neededAbility to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessionsAbility to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of Client and company informationAbility to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlinesAbility to travel by automobile and aircraftAbility to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, and photocopier.Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of timeAbility to work outside of normal business hours as neededLegally able to work in the United StatesEqual Opportunity Statement
