Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include the following:

Maintain the general ledger database and related software. Control and monitor input batches by reviewing and editing entries within batches. Safeguard the integrity of G/L computer files.Supervise the entry and maintenance of Accounts Payable + Accounts Receivable, accruals and Cash Receipt entries. Review coding and make appropriate adjustments.Control, enter and monitor barter and other recurring journal entries.Monitor purchasing processes to include review of transactions for approvals. Review account coding and overall completeness of documentation. Analyze status of Purchase Orders and payments.Analyze usage of MBE/WBE vendors and generate reports.Review and approve expense reports. Maintain database or spreadsheets for reporting analysis of expenses.Reconcile operating checking and investment accounts to bank statements. Work with bank officials to maintain banking services.Create monthly financial statements for review by the CFO. Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, fund balances, income and expenses. Prepare trend analysis spreadsheets and miscellaneous reports as needed.Coordinate implementation of accounting procedures.Prepare audit paperwork for auditors.Assist CFO with annual budgeting process and maintenance of budget databases.Prepare miscellaneous reports as needed.
