MD&A is seeking an entry-level Accountant to support our growing business. The position is located in our Repairs division in St. Louis, MO. The role will also work in a remote capacity with the finance and accounting team in other offices across the United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
include but are not limited to, the following:
Lead all efforts around accounts payable to ensure accurate and efficient processingServe as the vendor support liaison for payables (researching supplier's past due balances, answering payment inquires)Working with our operations team to support in the procurement process (ensuring corporate accuracy of purchase orders, timely receipts)Assisting with the monthly financial closing processPreparing Balance Sheet reconciliationsSupport Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments with ADHOC tasksMonitor and process employee expense reports through concurInitiating continuous improvement initiatives related to finance processesEnsuring conformance to accounting policies and proceduresSupport internal and external audit requirementsImplement and utilize technology tools to create efficiencies and data accuracyPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Or Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance with two years of relevant experienceWork independently in a fast-paced environmentOrganized and possess high attention to detailPossess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skillsSelf-identifies areas of need and takes initiativeProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointExperience with Power BI a plusExperience using an ERP system such as Epicor/Kinetic or SAP a plusAbility to work independently and as a teamStrong working knowledge of GAAP
