The Association strictly adheres to Emory University policies for the employment, health and safety of our employees.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Data/IT Support Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the business applications, data, and technological infrastructure within ACPE.Regularly assesses ACPE's technological needs, serves as primary administrator for customer relationship system(s), troubleshoots and fixes problems, evaluates new technologies and systems, and implements recommended and approved solutions.Serves as the main point of contact and manages the relationships with technology vendors and consultants.Maintains routine consultation with Nimble AMS (the Association's database) representatives for the optimal use and operation of the system.Oversees the Microsoft Share Point platform including but not limited to: establishing user accounts, creating and controlling access to document libraries/portfolios, and setting designated permissions; performing regular maintenance on the platform, servers, and intranet; providing end-user training; troubleshooting and resolving issues (i.e. password resets).Stays up to date with relevant developments and performing appropriate updates.Reviews usage and activity reports to perform adjustments and ensure optimized user-experiences.Assists with managing business software licensing and users for all ACPE technology solutions.Monitors hardware and software technology inventory use and upgrades required; researches latest technology and provides recommendations for IT infrastructure improvements to the Director of Communications and IT.Monitors and pro-actively improves the health and security of ACPE technology environments (e.g. coordinating staff security training, email phishing simulations, and Microsoft 365 security improvements).Provides users (i.e., staff, members, and contractors) with on- and off-boarding IT support.Manages relationships with all technology vendors and consultants.Monitors and assists with general IT support tickets where necessary.Data Management Support: Leads collaboration to capture organizational metrics for routine reporting and planning.Conducts regular reviews/clean-ups of all housed data for accuracy and compliance.Manages and ensures all requests are completed in accordance with data privacy laws.Performs data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.Performs other related duties as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Five (5) years of professional experience in IT and application administration OR a Bachelor's degree with three years of IT experience required.At least two (2) years of experience as a Share Point and Nimble/Salesforce administrator preferred.Excellent project management and documentation skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, manage laterally and up-wards, and attend to detail.A documented history of successful project completion.Strong data analysis, management, and cleaning skills including experience with and ability to use various analysis tools like MS Excel.Ability to assess and convey the impact of new requirements of ACPE platforms and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.Strong interest, understanding, and ability to quickly master new technology.Experience with nonprofit processes preferred.A successful candidate will hold advanced knowledge of Nimble AMS, Microsoft Share Point, and similar discipline-specific software.NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA.
