Job SummaryReviews, analyzes, monitors, and reports on manufacturing and customer data to support Manufacturing.Essential Duties & Responsibilities1.Prepares and analyzes daily/weekly/monthly volume trends, escalates findings, and tracks theimplementation of any necessary countermeasures.2.Evaluates weekly manning requirements for weekly manning meetings.3.Audits departmental manning maps to ensure alignment with the approved manning plan.4.Tracks manufacturing plan versus actual performance, reasons for missed plans, and associatedperformance improvement countermeasures.5.Audits Manpower plan versus actual for each shift, escalates variances, tracks reasons andcountermeasure for systemic variances to the plan.6.Leads and/or assists with training of department personnel, as required.7.Participate in Impact and Kaizen activities,Requirements1.Education & Experience: Meets one of the following requirements:a.Bachelor's Degree in business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, M.I.S. or arelated discipline, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions; ORb.Associate degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, M.I.S. or arelated discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions, half ofwhich includes complex data analysis; ORc.HS Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of related experience in related manufacturing functions, halfof which includes complex data analysis.2.Strong Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in the following areas:a.Knowledge and understanding of JIT manufacturing systemsb.Knowledge and understanding of NAL manufacturing capabilitiesc.Organizational, planning, and prioritizing skillsd.Data Acquisition, analysis, and reporting skillse.Computer skills - proficient in standard business software with advanced skills in MS Excel(spreadsheets and graphs) and MS Access (tables and queries)f.Written and verbal communications and presentation skillsg.Interpersonal skills - to confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority and to maintaincomposure in stressful and/or sensitive situationsAt North American LightingAll qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, marital status, parental status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, genetic information, and veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.Requisition ID: 17328Location: Muscle Shoals Plant
