Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will develop assigned suppliers in the areas of Quality, Delivery, Service, and Total Cost. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesYour Priorities Performs Supplier Quality Systems Surveys and supplier process reviews. Leads component part design review meetings. Works with NAL Buyers to gather information and make decisions regarding product sourcing. Reviews and approves ISIR submissions. Performs Supplier process reviews. Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on supplier-related quality issues using standard NAL problem solving method. RequirementsYour Background Bachelor's Degree, plus 3 to 5 years of experience-including 2 to 4 years of related manufacturing experience. 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering or Customer Relations within automotive supplier manufacturing, and experience in a JIT manufacturing environment are preferred.
