Sushi By Bou is seeking an Event Planner to join our growing team. This role will be the driving force behind business development via local outreach, relationship management and event and catering sales.
Salary:
$65k + commission based on experience
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 10am - 6pm + as needed on the weekends
Job Responsibilities:
Drive revenue by generating sales by booking events and catering across all of our locations but with a focus on Washington, DC (NY, NJ, CHI, PA, FL, PR)Come up with creative ways to bring in new clientsIncrease awareness and drive additional business to specific venues through outreach to local businesses, social groups and organizationsActively solicit new business opportunities by effective outreach sales calls and emails to potential clientsAttend and participate in networking events as well as research market and industry trendsWork directly with venue managers and staff to plan and execute successful eventsMonitor sales generated by bookings and continually develop strategies to improve and adjust to those changes to hit quarterly sales quotasHandle client and internal inquiries in a timely mannerManage records of sales, revenue, and other important dataMake professional decisions in a fast-paced environmentMaintain Sushi By Bou Company Standards and exhibit gracious hospitalityRequirements:
Excellent written and communication skillsHigh energy and persuasive personalityHighly organized and effective with problem solvingAbility to excel working in a fast-paced environmentMinimum 3 years experience with planning and executing successful events (preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry)Must have a passion for food and peopleMust be effective working remotelyJob Type:
