Purpose: This position is responsible for loading/unloading trucks with lifting devices to transfer goods to various locations in warehouse, storage yard or facility. Inventories materials on work floor and supply materials to production area as needed as well as maintains the warehouse and surrounding area.

Responsibilities:Work safely with no personal accidents, as well as support the safety program in place by performing regular audits.Prepares shipments for loading.Operating a forklift to move materials, supplies, or equipment around a job site or warehouse spaceLoading and unloading trucks and large containersLocating and moving pallets, bundles or rolls for storage or shipmentCounts and verifies all shipments against Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, orders or other records.Interfaces with truck drivers for proper docking for loading and unloading.Assists in all inventory taking as needed.Abides all safety procedures and practices as established by the department and the company including operating and maintaining fork trucks in a safe manner.Keeps all warehouse area in a neat and well-organized manner to facilitate the location of needed materials for production.Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesManaging inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipmentAssist with other tasks as needed.Qualifications:

3 to 5 years in manufacturing operations with demonstrated inventory control skills. 1 year of JDE mobile barcoding experience is preferred.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to calculate warehouse related figures.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of warehousing issues.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.Requires prolonged standing, sitting and frequent bending, stooping and stretching; manual dexterity; the ability to distinguish letters; occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.Knowledge of and skills in the use of office machines (computer and copier) and business procedures. Intermediate computer skills.Experience operating large Sit-On Powered Industrial Trucks including fork, clamp and pole attachments
