September 11 - December 11, 2024The University of Washington (UW) Department of Medicine and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC) are jointly recruiting for a full-time faculty member in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, to join our clinical research group focused on Acute Leukemia/Myeloid. This position would be at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank, without tenure due to funding (WOT). Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. This position would be based at Fred Hutch Cancer Center (FHCC) in Seattle.The myeloid malignancy group is dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and engaging in transformative clinical and translational research. The selected candidate would care primarily for patients with Myeloid malignancies. Positive factors for consideration include, but are not limited to, expertise in post-allogeneic transplant complications including graft-versus-host disease. The position will actively engage in the group’s research and teaching priorities, while facilitating delivery of exceptional clinical care to cancer patients. In addition, the position will have the opportunity and resources to develop his/her own clinical research program with a focus on clinical trials. Teaching responsibilities would involve oversight of housestaff and fellows during ambulatory and inpatient activities and delivery of lectures to housestaff, fellows, and the general medical community.The base salary range for this position will be: $21,250 - $30,000 per month ($255,000 - $360,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Other compensation associated with this position may include a Monthly Additional Compensation (MAC).Anticipated start date:
