Our Infrastructure Operations team is looking for a Network Operations Engineer II. This position will be responsible for day-to-day delivery of communications infrastructure spanning data, video, and voice. This position will provide time-proven technical and collaborative skills in the delivery and maintenance of communications infrastructure and services. Additionally, the Network Operations Engineer will propose the development and creation of new processes and procedures associated with configuration changes, operational sustainment, and monitoring.Position Responsibilities:Manage network infrastructure at BU campuses and satellite locations.Complete service requests and respond to incidents within the defined SLAs.Help ensure the highest level of network performance, including reliability, scalability, affordability, and security.Ensure documentation is complete, updated, and archived as necessary.Work closely with Service Desk and other internal departments.Required Skills:BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.Advanced knowledge of (3-5 years of experience with):

Routing & switching technologyBGP, OSPF, TACACS, RADIUS, DNS, DHCP, IPv6, Load balancers, FirewallsCisco Wired, Wireless, Datacenter Technologies, VoIP, CLI, F5, Palo Alto, VMware, Linux, MSOSZenoss, Rancid, Cacti, MRTG, ServiceNowNetwork troubleshootingITILStrong technical, analytical, organizational, & collaborative skills; ability to work under pressure and manage concurrent challenges effectivelyCCNA or equivalent experience
