The Physician Liaison Director at SENTA Partners is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue, enhancing referral sales processes, and leading a high-performing sales and marketing team. This dynamic role involves recruiting new patients to SENTA practices by working with the team of PL’s cultivating relationships with external referral sources through coordinated marketing activities and a consultative sales approach. The Director will develop and implement strategic market plans, mentor and guide the Physician Liaison Team, and optimize practice referral processes to align with SENTA’s objectives across our network of Practices. This leader drives sales performance across SENTA markets and service lines by actively managing and coaching a field sales team of Physician Liaisons, while working closely with VPs of Marketing, Operations, and Practice Administrators to implement the sales and marketing strategy.

This will include ramping new providers and locations as well as a targeted approach to growing new and existing referral sources indirectly via their team focused on growth, maintenance and recovery targets. The role is critical in ensuring that SENTA’s Practices maintain their competitive edge in the market by building strong relationships with physicians and other key stakeholders.

Key Objectives:

Increase Referral Revenue:

Lead initiatives to boost referral revenue and expand market presence.

Improve Referral Processes and Efficiency:

Identify and implement improvements to streamline tracking of sales efforts, impact on referral volume and referral intake process via operations.

Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plan:

Craft a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and drives sustained growth.

Train, Coach and Mentor the PL Team:

Empower the team with the knowledge and skills needed for success.

Provide Leadership and Direction for Growth Revenue Initiatives:

Ensure that all sales efforts are cohesive, strategic, and aligned with company and SENTA Practices’ objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development

Assess current sales, tracking and impact processes and identify areas for improvement.

Develop a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with SENTA’s overarching goals.

Set, evaluate, and adjust sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous growth.

Sales Team Leadership

Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team, ensuring that they are equipped to meet and exceed their goals.

Conduct regular PL meetings to foster team collaboration, share insights, and address challenges.

Mentor and develop PL team members, providing them with the tools, training, and feedback necessary for professional growth.

Sales Process Optimization

Streamline sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, minimizing friction in the cycle.

Act as the System Administrator for Customer Relationship Management tool: Salesforce and other sales technologies, ensuring they are effectively utilized.

Develop and maintain scripts, templates, and other resources to support consistent and successful sales practices.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Track sales performance against established targets and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership, offering data-driven recommendations to adjust strategies and tactics as needed.

Continuously monitor and adjust sales strategies based on performance data to ensure that sales objectives are met or exceeded.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the healthcare or medical industry.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop talent.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Proficient in Salesforce and sales technologies, with experience in optimizing their use.

Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Working Conditions:

This position may require travel to meet with PL team members, physicians, and stakeholders across various locations across GA, SC, NC, TX, VA, KY, IN.

Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours may be required based on business needs.
