Position: Clinical Director
Reports to : Executive Director

Objective:
To assure that daily operations run smoothly in Casa Fortaleza’s provision of clinical services to sexual violence survivors and to provide clinical oversight.
Requirements:
Bilingual and Biliterate in Spanish/English preferred
Master’s degree and New Mexico licensure in Social Work (LISW) or Counseling (LPCC), Independent licensure required
Experience in supervising staff
Experience working with survivors of sexual violence
Maintain licensing and continuing education according to professional standards
Summary of Position:
Provide general and clinical supervision for therapists and case managers. Provide professional individual and group therapy for survivors of sexual violence, childhood sexual abuse, incest, street harassment, stalking, etc.
Provide case coordination with the case management team to help best provide case management and advocacy needs to advocate for survivors as needed by coordinating with different systems, such as the court and other legal entities, other mental health providers, and other organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide general and clinical supervision to therapists
Provide supervision for case managers
Provide individual, family, and group therapy for survivors of sexual violence
Conduct assessments, treatment planning, case coordination, and group and/or individual therapy
Respect and maintain a high standard of confidentiality for all clients and cases served by Casa Fortaleza
Maintain accurate and current progress notes and other documentation about service provision
Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed and facilitate emergency services as required
Inform Casa Fortaleza of developments and trends in areas of mental health and trauma treatment that may have a bearing on Casa Fortaleza’s programs, clients, staff, or community
Maintain professional documentation and record keeping for client files
Design and implement systems for documentation
Collect required information for grant reporting and report on activities for grants
Engage in ongoing evaluation of services and treatment modalities for Casa Fortaleza
Attend community meetings to continue to foster collaboration between other victim service providers and to stay up-to-date of local trends in sexual violence reporting, services, and responses to victims
Attend trainings for grant reporting, crime victim compensation, trauma-informed service provision, and best social work practice
Supervise interns and volunteers as needed
