The Restoration Construction Superintendent reports to the Structure Project Manager. The Superintendent sets and manages client expectations, manages all subcontractors and vendors according to the project schedule, and oversees material delivery. The Superintendent develops and maintains successful relationships with the project team, subcontractors, and homeowners. The Superintendent must verify that the quality of each phase of finished work exceeds company standards and homeowner expectations. The Superintendent coordinates with all project personnel to provide a safe jobsite per OSHA requirements and according to Apex Restoration DKI policy and procedures. The Superintendent maintains and posts all documentation in accordance with company policies. The Superintendent must communicate with project team and homeowners by phone and email daily.
Accountabilities:
Detail-oriented and follow through to completion of a projectProject management experience, preferably in all areas of residential constructionExcellent skills in verbal/written communication, teamwork, accuracy, conflict resolution, cost management and time managementManage multiple projects simultaneouslyBasic computer skillsFoster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors and vendorsComplete weekly vehicle inspection and maintain vehicle cleanlinessMay work 40+ hours per weekMay be on call during catastrophic eventsPerform other responsibilities as requiredRequired Qualifications:
Previous construction experience preferred, but will train the right candidateExperience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate a plusLevel 1 certification in Xactimate or willingness to obtainMaintain professional appearance at all timesAbility to enter confined spaces, climb on roofs, and lift up to 75 lbsValid Driver's License & eligibility to work in the United StatesAbility to pass a background check and drug screenNo felony convictionsCompensation:
Salary $45k - $55k, depending on experienceEligible for commission plan after 90 days and favorable review, possible earnings of 50% to 100% of your base salaryHealth/ Vision/ Dental/ AflacPaid Time Off8 Paid HolidaysCompany vehicle and fuel card providedCompany laptop providedCell phone reimbursement
