Purpose of Position

The Senior Engineering Data Analyst plays a critical role in organizing and analyzing internal and external data to develop new and impactful insights to increase revenue and profit. This critical position leads analytic projects, targeted at developing new insights and understanding which can help with strategy and decision making. In addition, this position maintains, executes, and updates many key engineering business processes. This fast-paced position will also engage cross functionally to develop / execute data analytics projects to support growth.This position is located at our World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio.

Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Implement Power BI dashboards for the management team to assess effectiveness & efficiency in the execution of projectsand product vitality.Execute analysis to create & maintain Power BI dashboard for long range forecast/capacity for engineered bearings.Provide PFEP (Plan For Every Part) support for capacity expansion, rationalization and integration projects.Execute 4Ps analysis for target markets, connecting data types of: sales, gross margin, CRM, win/loss, supply chain performance, cost, pricing, etc.Perform ad-hoc product data analysis to support product strategy development,corporate projects, due-diligence and synergy cases for new acquisitions.Recommend / Implement continuous improvement (CI) actions related to data management for corporate processes.Participate in gate, performance or portfolio review meetings, presenting data at executive level to support business decisions.Required Technical/Functional Skills

Proficient in statistical analysis, Microsoft Office, SQL, Data Services, Power Query, Power BI, SAP, general database structure, and integrationLogical, process-oriented thinkingStrong analytical and process documentation skillsExcellent problem-solving skills, and ability to derive insightAdvanced data retrieval and manipulation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation of data skillsDemonstrated effective project management skillsUnderstanding of relevant business processesMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, ITor similar with at least 7years of related experiences in engineering, data management, data integration and/or IT.The ideal candidate will have a proven career of high performance through both technical and business development experiences.All qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
