The

Loan Servicing Specialist

performs a wide variety of duties relating to collateral control. Prepares and/or files for lien perfection to secure the Bank’s collateral timely and accurately. Performs all functions and procedures that relate to the perfection of collateral for commercial and consumer loan types. Keeps up to date of all changes to bank policies, procedures, federal and state regulations which impact problem resolution aspects. May assist with special initiatives or projects; supports other areas within Loan Servicing as needed.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:File possessory collateral and key original documents in vault (notes, guarantee agreements, car titles, etc.) sent from the lines of business.Conduct annual inventory of collateral.Track and maintain all legal documents including imaging all associated documents and Quality Control along with tracking of all missing documents. Execute timely to ensure all items received are imaged and all missing items are reporting no less than monthly via audit reports to the various business lines.Responsible for filing of UCC’s financing statements with the city, State or Registry. Collaborate with the business lines and communicates with local and state governments to ensure all recordings are filed timely. Track renewals for five-year continuation and process UCC terminations at time of Loan Payoff.Provide collateral reports as necessary.Process releases and terminations for real estate collateral.Establish loan exceptions and tickler items into FCM/IC for tracking and reporting purposes.Maintain exceptional customer service levels while handling all customer inquiries and research for internal and external customers. Executing on service requests within established SLA’s.Cross-train and perform additional tasks as assigned.Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.Qualifications

Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Two years of administrative experience in an office environment where attention to detail is a critical component of the job; experience in loan servicing, commercial lending, loan documentation or other equivalent experience in a financial institution is strongly preferred.Notary or able to obtain Notary Certification within six months.Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly MS Excel and MS Word.Experience with imaging systems.Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented with a commitment to a high level of data integrity and accuracy.Preferences:General knowledge or experience in loan servicing, commercial lending, loan documentation experience required or other equivalent experience in financing.Experience with loan banking systems, preferably IBS preferred.
