They are seeking a VP of Sales to develop and implement a comprehensive sales growth strategy. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, expanding the account base, closing new deals, and enhancing overall profitability. You will be responsible for establishing management processes and KPIs while managing the P&L of your team. In essence, the hiring, coaching, management, and training of the sales team rests on your shoulders, with a preference for candidates willing to be based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive growth for your team.Build and lead a sales, account management, and customer success team.Research new markets and provide data-driven insights for sales plans.Manage key customer relationships and close strategic deals.Set achievable goals and KPIs for the sales teams.Structure sales incentive plans to motivate the team.Hire and nurture the next generation of sales leaders.Analyze market intel, competitive activity, and deal structures.Establish a robust sales process and infrastructure.Forecast sales planning, operational budgets, and revenue.Track the sales pipeline and evaluate sales representatives' performance.Collaborate with the Operations team on lead generation strategies, sales performance analysis, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in managing a sales team.Previous experience managing a team generating at least $50 Million in sales is required.A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.At least 10+ years of experience in the logistics, supply chain, or 3PL industries; fresh produce logistics experience is preferred.Prior P&L management experience is preferred.Strong communication skills and a tech-savvy mindset.Exceptional multi-tasking abilities and strong leadership skills.Highly motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented.Employment Type: Full-Time
