FBA Inventory Optimization Services (FIOS) is looking for a results-oriented analytics leader to help deliver analytics at scale across our product and services portfolio.Our ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who can thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced business landscape. You are passionate about working with complex datasets and are someone who loves to dive deep, analyze, and turn data into insights. You should have deep expertise in the analytic view of business questions, building up & refining metrics framework to measure business operation and translating data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will have ownership of end-to-end analytics development to complex questions and you’ll play an integral role in strategic decision-making. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to understand business challenges & opportunities, and to drive data-driven decision into process & tool improvement together with the business team.Above all, you should be passionate about how insights can be used to improve both the Customer and Seller experiences in doing business with Amazon.Key job responsibilities

Hire, manage, coach and lead a high performing team of Data Engineers, BIEs and Business AnalystsBuild datasets, metrics, and KPIs supporting business goals for the FBA organizationDesign, implement and support end-to-end analytical solutions that are highly available, reliable, secure, and scale economicallyCollaborate cross-functionally to recognize and help adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentationReport key insight trends using statistical rigor to simplify and inform the larger team of noteworthy findings that impact the businessProactively identify problems and opportunities and perform root cause analysis/diagnosis leading to significant business impactWork closely with business and operations leadership, including executive leadership at Amazon, to define the technical product and provide updates on the program.Own reporting for business reviews with leadershipManage all aspects of BI projects such as project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.Work with Product, Research Sciences and software development teams to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experienceExperience with SQLExperience with ETLExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar toolsExperience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning softwarePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experiencePosted:
