As a Group & Event Planning Manager for AutoCamp your primary role will be ensuring that group and events booked by the Enterprise and Area Sales team are fully detailed and executed, providing our guests with exceptional experiences. You will be the liaison between the seller, the client, and the property, ensuring you capture all pertinent details from the client and communicate those details thoroughly to the property team.

Additionally, as a Group & Event Planning Manager you will be responsible for achieving a booking goal, specific to booking all wedding-related group room blocks and wedding-related events specific to your assigned properties. This position will also execute all events on-site.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Develop long term and mutually beneficial business relationships with vendors involved in the execution of groups and events at your assigned property(s)Finalizes and effectively communicates details of all group and event bookings to include rooming lists, resumes, and BEOs to client and property team.Liaise clients with onsite staff and outside vendorsBook all wedding rooms only group blocks and any wedding eventsMeet and exceed quarterly and annual booking goals.Deliver a 5-star experience for potential clients during site visits and FAM tripsReconcile all group billing, including deposit collection and final invoicing upon group departure.In conjunction with area sales team support, maintain and maximize relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce and Convention/Visitors Bureau.Develops and maintains positive working relationships AutoCamp and Field Station team membersRepresents AutoCamp professionally at all times in all client interactions written, verbally and in personMaintains up-to-date awareness of area activities, market trends and industry events.DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

At least 3 years prior hotel experience. Sales, catering or conference services experience preferred.Experience preferably within destination markets.Preferred experience in working within a Sales CRMEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES

Required: High school diploma or GED.THE RIGHT PERSON WILL....

Salary Description

$60,000-$70,000.00 Per Year
