Responsibilities:Utilize Puppet for comprehensive automation of infrastructure management.Leverage Ansible for the advanced development of playbooks and automation across diverse environments.Manage and automate workflows using VMware vRealize Automation (VRA) for virtual machine orchestration.Automate tasks and processes across Windows and Linux systems (Windows 2022, RHEL 8, Ubuntu 22/24).Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and related tooling, focusing on GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.Write and maintain scripting in Bash and PowerShell to automate various operational tasks.Work with VMs in Azure to automate and manage infrastructure as needed.Troubleshoot and optimize networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, TCP, IP, SSH, FTP, SMTP, DNS, LDAP) as required.Top Skills:Expertise with Puppet
– Must be highly proficient in using Puppet for configuration management and automation.Advanced working knowledge of Ansible
– Experience in developing and configuring automated processes with Ansible.Advanced working knowledge of VMware vRealize Automation (VRA)
– Demonstrated experience in automating VMware environments using VRA.Expertise in operating systems
– Advanced knowledge of Windows 2022, RHEL 8, and Ubuntu 22/24, and the ability to automate processes across these systems.Scripting and automation
– Advanced proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, GitHub Actions, and automating processes with CI/CD pipelines.Qualifications:2-3 years of full stack development experience with React, Web Services, Python, and FastAPI.1-3 years of experience working with Linux operating systems and shell scripting.1-3 years of experience with Windows operating systems and PowerShell scripting.Experience with Azure cloud platform and virtual machine management is a plus.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline processes and automation tooling like GitHub Actions.Experience with networking protocols, load balancers, firewalls, and storage management.Ability to write detailed technical documentation and create diagrams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience managing VMs in Azure.Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, yaml pipelines, and API development.
