Trident employs approximately 9,000 people worldwide each year and partners with over 5,400 independent fishermen and crewmembers.Summary:The HRIS Analyst supports the HRIS team in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Trident's human resources information system (HRIS). This individual will assist with data entry, report generation, troubleshooting and problem resolution, system testing, and documentation of processes.Essential Functions (Responsibilities, Tasks, Supervisory Needs):System Maintenance: Assist with the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS systems, such as Payroll, Benefits administration, and performance management.Production Support: Provide support for HR, Payroll, and Benefits including researching and resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws.Reports/Queries: Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs and help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.Training: Develop and maintain process flow documentation and user guides for HR, Payroll, and Benefits. Conduct training for new system users and existing users as new features and functionality are utilized or come to market.Projects/Process Improvement: Provide support in the development and maintenance of system changes and process improvements.Supports and maintains Payroll and HR applications, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with internal policies.Conduct routine audits and validation to ensure accuracy of data, rectify discrepancies and/or missing data.Assist with managing an independent Dayforce user group run by Trident Seafoods, including member updates.Collaborate with the Senior HRIS and IT teams to design and implement HR technology solutions.This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $90,000 to $112,000.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with a company match, vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year, and paid parental leave.Required Qualifications:A minimum of 1 year of experience in HRIS, combined HRIS and payroll, or a related field.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education and Experience:Experience working with Ceridian Dayforce.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain strong vendor relations.Critical thinker with attention to detail.Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize projects.Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and human resource practices.Proficiency in Excel (i.e., functionality such as v-lookups and pivot tables).CPP or PHR certification.Work Environment:This job takes place in a typical office environment: temperature-controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. The employee is regularly required to use a computer for long periods, often sitting at a desk. The employee may occasionally need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. During visits to production locations, the employee will need normal vision and hearing to navigate the production floors and warehouse. The employee may move objects occasionally up to 15 pounds.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
