Position Summary:

The System Director of Revenue Cycle System, working in partnership with Revenue Cycle leadership, will lead two complimentary ITS teams (Revenue Integration Systems Enterprise and Revenue Cycle Operations) and drive measurable outcomes through revenue cycle integration efforts, delivering on Revenue Cycle strategic priorities such as denials management and cash position. The System Director will play a critical role in migrating the team to a new Product Management operating model which will strengthen the alignment with our partners and system support office operations.

Key Accountabilities:

Oversees the Revenue Cycle Systems division including design, development, implementation, operation and process improvement for technology systems.

Leads the evaluation, enhancement and upgrade of all departmental system solutions for our Revenue Cycle partners.

Delivers outstanding customer service to all entities by leading Revenue Cycle Systems through direct engagement, helping to clearly identify goals and objectives, prioritize requests, monitor activity and training services.

Supports the enterprise efforts to integrate effectively with the state and federal government to improve care, compliance and reporting.

Communicates with business leaders effectively to set proper expectations for all executives, directors, managers and staff.

Leads the staff in the training and adoption of Lean and Product Management philosophy, skills and behaviors.

Promotes integration, consolidation, standardization and optimization and presenting it positively to the user community.

Provides regular status reports and updates to executive leadership.

Manages the budget for the assigned cost centers and demonstrates fiduciary accountability.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems is required.

Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience within revenue cycle or healthcare information technology.

Broad revenue cycle operational experience in an Epic organization.

Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.

Proven team builder and analytical problem solver.

Strong Excel skills, including the ability to organize data, enter formulas, and create reports.

Proven ability to provide support to multiple users with varying needs and successfully manage multiple priorities.

Proven experience building and maintaining relationships.
