** Data Warehouse Architect****Job Category****:** IT **Requisition Number****:** DATAW005134 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Position Information**Job Title: Data Warehouse ArchitectDepartment: IT Business Intelligence & DWFLSA Status: ExemptReports to: BI & DW ManagerFull/Part Time Status: FullWork Location: Gardena, CA**Education/Experience Requirements**Minimum Education Level: Bachelors DegreeMinimum Years of Experience: 5+Combination of Experience and Education can meet the job requirements: Yes**Language Requirement**English: Written: Advanced Verbal: AdvancedKorean: Written: None Verbal: None**Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements**Microsoft Outlook: AdvancedMicrosoft Word: AdvancedMicrosoft Excel: AdvancedMicrosoft PowerPoint: Advanced**Responsibilities & Duties*** Develops database architectural strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address Enterprise requirements.* Develops database design and architecture documentation for the management and executive teams.* Manages change control, problem management and communication among ETL developers.* Promotes Data Standards, Data Quality and Business Intelligence programs.* Establish and enforce processes to ensure a consistent, well managed and integrated data warehouse ETL infrastructure and tool set.* Lead team to build custom data-driven frameworks and solutions, and leverage off-the-shelf data products and tools.* Document implementation of data policies and procedures* Maintains a high degree of business functional knowledge and current automated technologies and tools.* Adheres to all policies and procedures concerning all confidential information including but not limited to internal use and restricted information.**Job Qualifications/Requirements*** Requires a College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent field and 8+ years experience with design/architecting, developing and implementing data warehouse solutions.* Experience in the banking/finance industry a plus.* Advanced knowledge of data/ETL architecture patterns and ability to create interim architectures to provide tactical and strategic architectures towards data solutions.* Experience with enterprise level relational database like Oracle, DB2, MySQL, MS-SQL, PostgeSQL etc.* Expert knowledge in SQL and database procedural languages, relational and dimensional database design concepts. Ability to identify and solve problems.
