Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Medical Director to oversee clinical operations at our detox facility in Fayetteville, Georgia. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for leading and ensuring high standards of medical care for patients undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong understanding of addiction medicine, excellent leadership, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical oversight for the detox program and ensure the safety and efficacy of treatment plans.Conduct initial evaluations and daily assessments of patients undergoing detox.Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.Oversee and support clinical staff, including nurse practitioners.Develop and implement clinical protocols and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in addiction medicine.Provide consultation for complex cases and adjust treatment plans as needed.Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care.Attend staff meetings, trainings, and contribute to program development.
Qualifications:
MD or DO with current Georgia medical license in good standing.Board certification in Addiction Medicine or related field.5+ years of experience in addiction treatment, preferably in a detox or inpatient setting.Strong understanding of withdrawal protocols for alcohol, opioids, and other substances.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.Strong organizational and decision-making skills.Passion for helping individuals with substance use disorders.

Schedule:
Hybrid - Ideally 4 hours a week on site

$10,000 a month
