We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Sanitation Technician in our Chino, CA warehouse. The Sanitation Technician will work afternoon/evening shifts in the Meat processing department earning and hourly wage of $23.00-$25.75 DOE plus benefits.
General Responsibilities:
Be directly responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the commissary plant equipmentClean large food processing equipment; Chemicals will be used during the sanitation processResponsible for operation of sanitation equipment such as the pressure washerWash and sanitize all commissary plant property using proper cleaning proceduresClean meat crates and blue plastic pallets/cratesClean and sanitize food processing equipment, roof, fans, ceilings, walls and floors using specific procedures as directedUse all proper cleaning procedures so that it meets with both In-N-Out Burger and USDA standardsAssist in reassembling equipment when necessaryMonitor and document chemical concentrations to ensure proper cleaning of equipmentFollow all safety policies and procedures at all timesWork Schedule + Benefits:
Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)Pay Range: $23.00-$25.75 per hourThe above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. High school diploma or GEDOne (1) year experience working in a meat facility or similar responsibilitiesOne (1) year Sanitation or Janitorial experience, preferably in a food processing plantAbility to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for all chemicals used in cleaning activitiesPhysical Demands/Requirements:
Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.Ability to climb tall ladders and not be afraid of heightsAbility to withstand varied environmental conditions, such as cold and heat, extreme wet, within closed surroundingsWill work in an environment that is wet, damp, and humid; will undergo temperature changes from hot to coldWill wear rain gear while hosing down equipmentExposure to chemical cleaning solution (with protective gear)Production rooms are warm when cleaning them: 70-80 degreesOccasional work assignments in temperatures as low as 34 degrees FahrenheitPosition requires frequent lifting, standing, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneelingMaintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings
