Principal Sales Strategy and Operations ManagerPagerDuty is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Principal Sales Strategy and Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Strategy and Operations, Consulting and/or Business operations with 12+ years of experience in high tech. The Sales Strategy and Operations team is responsible for helping define and execute the strategy to support our best-in-class enterprise sales team. This role will report to the Sr. Director of Strategy and Operations. The candidate should be adept at breaking down complex problems, and frame these problems so that they can be operationally executed with measurable results. Being data-driven along with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills will be important drivers of success.
Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will conduct analyses and lead initiatives focused on go-to-market strategy, analytics, and operations that impact the US Public Sector business
Leverage structured problem-solving techniques to drive operational rigor and improve processes across our sales organization
Analyze raw data to find actionable insights, detect risks and opportunities, and suggest solutions for how to bolster the performance of our sales teams and products
Work cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, GTM, and other key stakeholders to effectively implement strategic initiatives
Maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
12+ years of Strategy and operations, business operations or Consulting experience
Comfortable independently navigating and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional communication skills for clear and concise conveyance of complex ideas and data.
Comfortable with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your analytical skills to collaborate with the rest of the cross functional teams to build solutions
High degree of intellectual curiosity and self confidence
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships across organizational levels.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters in Business, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong Looker, Tableau, or similar tools for data analysis
Work experience in a fast-growth environment
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and presentation tools along with building exec-facing presentations, and narratives
Ability to communicate complex ideas both verbally & in writing

The base salary range for this position is 142,000 - 221,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
