Talascend is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic for a contract opportunity located in Greenville, SC.
OVERVIEW:Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations.F-16 Production line structures and assembly. Installing fasteners, drilling bulkheads, skins, and building up fuselage components. Heavy Precision drilling, Countersinking, and reaming precision holes.Most be actively drilling precision holes on aircraft!Must be able to work any shift 1st Shift Mon-Thurs 6:00am-4:30pm2nd Shift Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00amWeekend Shift- Thurs-Sun 6:00am-4:30pm.
Most likely be prepared to work off-shifts Second or weekendsSkills: Aircraft production structures experience Sheet Metal Precision Drilling Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs Blueprint Reading
