Piper Companies is seeking a

Scrum Master

to join a leading global asset management company supporting fortune 500 organizations based in

Washington, DC

. The

Scrum Master

will be responsible for guiding and supporting a global, cross-functional team working to deliver business critical projects.

This position will be hybrid 3 days per week in Washington, DC!

Responsibilities of Scrum Master include:

Work collaboratively with Software Development teams to ensure that a sprint backlog is ready for Sprint Planning.Lead and own the lifecycle of a digital web projectSupport and educate Product Owners, especially around the refinement and maintenance of the Product Backlog.Provide accurate status reporting of performance of sprints and projects.Facilitate scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint retrospectives and team-based release planning.Work with the team to define sprint goals and work closely with the team to ensure delivery of sprint goals and team commitments.Assume a high level of ownership for the agile processes adopted within your team.Ability to clearly communicate in all forms including email, phone, documents and in person.Qualifications for the Scrum Master include:

5+ years of experience managing software development teams.Technical software development leadership skillsIn-depth knowledge of agile estimation and planning techniques.Bachelor's in Computer Science or related degree.Extensive experience practicing SAFeScrum master certification is a must (CSM)Compensation for the Scrum Master include:
