JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for carrying out the day to day operations of the ZECO distribution warehouse. Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the shipping and receiving clerk will stage and load shipments, record deliveries for inventory, store delivered chemical inventory, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
EDUCATION:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
1-2 years of previous warehouse experience
Preferred:
3+ years of experience working in a shipping or receiving role in the chemical industry
POSITION REQUIREMENT(S): Specialized Skills/License/Certification
Required:
Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the USBe at least 18 years of ageProject a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and associatesAbility to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situationsAbility to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environmentDetail oriented with strong organizational skillsSit down Lift-Truck ExperienceCORE COMPETENCIES (Essential Job Functions)
Wear mandatory PPE at all times.Stage and load LTL and TL shipments.Follow all bar code scanning requirements during the inventory and shipping processes.Use forklift or pallet jack to load/unload items for inventory or delivery.Store inventory items in compliance with company and OSHA requirements.Ensure all material is stored properly and at the right temperature according to product specifications.Support order fulfillment process by working extensively with customer service, production personnel, shipping and Pro Logistics.Complete other duties and special projects upon request.

MaxLight = Lifting 25 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.Medium = Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting/carrying 25 lbs.X Heavy = Lifting 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting/carrying up to 50lbs.Very Heavy = Lifting objects over 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting/carrying more than 50 lbs.
