Summary:

We are looking for a

Talent Acquisition Manager

with full cycle recruiting experience. This position will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting for all positions for Koa Restoration & Maintenance that include executive, management, administrative, and janitorial positions. This position will play an integral part in establishing and executing recruitment strategies and procedures that reduce the time to hire and maximize candidate experience. This position also must ensure recruiting strategies align with organizational business goals. The Talent Acquisition Manager must also be willing to step in and support the HR team with other ad hoc projects related to compliance, benefits, employee relations, health and safety if needed.

This position will contribute in the following ways:

Responsible for performing all related activities for the recruiting process including but not limited to creating job ads, posting positions, resume reviews, phone screens, scheduling interviews, extending conditional job offers, running pre-employment screenings, onboarding, etc.

Use various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking, social networking, cold calling, college/university recruiting and job fairs to attract a diverse pipeline of candidates.

Evaluates the effectiveness of recruitment activities on an ongoing basis and makes adjustments as necessary.

Plans, creates, executes, and measures recruitment strategies, including planning of events and hosting job fairs.

Review interview and evaluation procedures/standards to ensure HR compliance.

Establish credibility and effectively partner with hiring managers to better understand business needs and assess position goals and requirements.

Responsible for creating pipeline activities for "hard to fill" roles or for roles that the company is regularly searching for.

Present recommendations for improving recruiting strategies.

HR Metrics: Track and analyze recruiting and retention data, including open positions, staffing levels, turnover, applicant tracking, etc.

Ensure recruitment activity is updated in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner within the applicant tracking system.

Create conditional job offers, review, and participate in negotiation and re-negotiation of salaries in coordination with offer.

Responsible for onboarding activities that may include pre-employment screenings, new hire paperwork, Form I-9 verification, etc.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Proven track record to be flexible and agile.

Proficiency in using ATS/HRIS systems.

Demonstrated experience working with all levels of executives and management.

Self-motivated with ability to operate independently and work proactively.

Ability to work independently and prioritize heavy workload in fast paced environment.

Proven track record of establishing innovative recruiting initiatives.

Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or another related field from an accredited institution is desired and will be considered equivalent years of work experience.

2-4 years HR experience is strongly desired.

Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 25 lbs. at times.

Must be able to travel within the state of Hawaii; occasionally traveling to neighboring islands.

Job Type/Shift:

Exempt, Full-time

Pay:

$70,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
