An IT service management provider is seeking a mid-to-high level Project Engineer - Systems to join their solutions team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing 15-25 system solution projects to include the installation and deployment of various server, hardware and software systems for different clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Day to Day:- Serve as the final escalation technical tier 3 level support for all systems related projects.- Work closely with the PMO to understand client requirements and ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high-level technical requirements.- Collaborate with the solutions team to develop and implement custom solutions based on client needs.- Create detailed documentation of deployed systems and configurations.- Delegate tasks to technicians and ensure project milestones are met.- Perform minimal maintenance and patching as needed.

Required Skills & Experience- Local to San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, or Orlando FL- Ability to travel to local and non local markets on an as needed basis.- 3-5 years of hands-on experience installing/deploying hardware and software systems (storage, switches, VMWare, email migration, security, zero trust, cloud applications, etc.) in a system administration/engineering role- 2-5 years of hands-on experience deploying different web, mail, and/or virtual servers (SQL, Windows, Linux, Web, ERP, cloud, etc.)- Experience deploying Microsoft servers/products (Intune, Active Directory, Exchange, etc.)- Experience maintaining technical project documentation to include installation guides, configuration settings, etc.- Experience managing timelines and delegating tasks- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP), technology service company, or similar

Nice to Have Skills & Experience- Previous project engineering experience managing timelines and/or delegating tasks- Experience with IT Glue and/or ConnectWise for technical project documentation
