The Role
Our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group is looking for a Manager Consulting to join our journey. We’re looking for
Consulting Managers
who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development.
As a
Manager, Consulting
(Senior Manager level), this role entails client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and owning a workstream. Responsibilities include maintaining expertise in your domain, contributing to the sales process, creating service offerings, and contributing to People Care initiatives.
Responsibilities
Working with clients to define and execute product roadmaps and implementation roadmaps
Managing large-scale network transformation projects focusing on:
Platform modernization
Product innovation
Partner onboarding and servicing
Effectively managing engagement deliverables, risks, and issues
Developing & documenting policies for managing digital content for clients
Applying deep subject knowledge in the internal banking policy-making environment
Familiarity with Intranet/internet technologies and related policy environments
Strong analytical skills with the ability to convey trends and data analysis
Polished business writing skills and familiarity with policy documentation
Acting as a trusted resource who understands client objectives and leads teams to deliver superior results
Identifying and supporting areas to build practice capabilities and service line development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience
10+ years of business analysis experience in the banking/financial services industry with a focus on payment card networks
Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and developing products from scratch
Proven expertise in working on core capabilities of major payment card networks
Strong understanding of payment network architecture, protocols, and compliance standards
Experience in launching emergent products as part of a network portfolio
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to payment networks
Excellent relationship management skills
Leadership and team management skills
Ability to travel as needed for business requirements
