Job Summary

The Sr. Director, Global Supply Chain Planning oversees and directs the company's demand and supply planning across multiple regions and countries. This includes demand forecasting, inventory management, production planning, finished good purchasing and leadership of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. The role involves setting strategic direction, developing and implementing processes and systems to optimize supply chain efficiency, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The Sr. Director collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, mitigate risks, and enhance customer satisfaction. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain management are essential for success in this role.

Essential Functions

Leads the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and collaboration.

Develops and executes global demand and supply planning strategies to support business objectives and financial goals. Ensure consistent global forecast methodologies between regions and sales channels.

Oversees the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting and alignment with market trends and customer requirements.

Establishes and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain planning performance.

Determines appropriate trade-offs between demand fulfillment, inventory levels and factory loading requirements by working with the Executive team and RMD's.

Leads the development and implementation of best-in-class supply chain planning processes and systems.

Collaborates with Sales, Merchandising, Finance and Product Development teams to gather input and adjust forecasts as needed.

Optimizes inventory levels to balance service levels and working capital requirements.

Implements inventory management policies and practices to achieve excess and obsolete inventory targets.

Collaborates with Sourcing, Manufacturing and Logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

Builds and leads a high-performing global demand and supply planning team.

Fosters a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, Economics, or related field required.

Ten (10) years' experience in supply chain management, supply/inventory planning, demand planning and/or product forecasting at multiple organizations, including experience with footwear and/or apparel manufacturers/wholesalers.

Five (5) years' experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.

Expert level verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Ability to influence and represent business position competently and confidently with managers, directors, executives, and senior individuals throughout the organization.

Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Ability to quickly calculate and accurately manipulate and create spreadsheets.

Expert level understanding of data for reconciliation and reporting including the ability to summarize for executive review.

Expert level knowledge of and the ability to create documented processes, proposals, and presentations.

Proficient in enterprise resource planning systems (ERPs).

Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) software desirable.

Proven analytical skills a must. Must be able to analyze and problem solve.

Travel Required:

Up to 10% of work time will include travel.

Base Salary:

$200,000.00 - $225,000.00 yearly.This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
