weaver.com .Position ProfileWeaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Manager level to join our growing firm! We serve a variety of clients in multiple industries from private equity-backed clients and large businesses to high-net-worth individual clients. Our scope of services includes tax planning and preparation, entity structuring, wealth preservation, family succession consulting, and more.A Tax Manager works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and firm administration activities, including training and mentoring less-experienced team members. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm.Education and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related fieldMaster’s degree in Accounting or related field preferredCPA with 5+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience or a combination of bothTechnical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in a variety of industriesProven ability to manage, mentor and develop a teamStrong relationship management and practice development skillsAbility to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clientsWeaver BenefitsAt Weaver, our most valuable resource is our people.
