This includes maintaining internal controls; compliance with federal, state, and other legal reporting requirements; grants management; revenue recognition; general ledger activity; accounts payable/receivable; payroll; tax; and procurement functions to include managing strategic outsourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management.The

Manager, Procurement Operations

manages the procure to pay process and administration of the purchase card program to facilitate the purchase of small dollar procurement actions. Manages and/or reports on high-volume agreements and non-disclosure agreement processes. Manages the collection and analysis of procurement data reports. Identifies trends and provides recommendations to management. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.Responsibilities

Serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to all procurement-related PeopleSoft activities.Manages procure to pay process, including overseeing purchase order and change order process within the PeopleSoft application, including review of requisitions and creation and modification of purchase orders.Manages and maintains key business unit, supplier, and staff relationships, resolving disputes, managing escalations, and driving innovation and continuous improvement.Delivers quality customer service to include researching customer inquiries pertaining to invoices, payments, requisitions, and purchase orders. Works closely with the outsourced Accounts Payable department and the organization Accounts Payable contacts.Works with internal audit to review continuous monitoring data to ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.Manages corporate card contracts, overseeing negotiations and corporate card policy exceptions.Leads the team effectively to create strong morale and spirit. Shares wins and successes and fosters open dialogue.Manages review and execution of non-disclosure agreements, including maintaining the NDA database and coordinating with General Counsel for NDA modifications.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of procurement experience.Proven experience managing the procure-to-pay process.Strong background in overseeing buyer functions within procurement.Demonstrated ability to negotiate high-volume agreements.Excellent judgment with advanced analytical skills.Preferred Qualifications:7+ years of procurement experience.Hands-on experience with Oracle or other ERP procurement modules.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.AARP will not sponsor an employment visa for this position at this time.Additional Requirements
