We are looking for an
Admissions Coordinator
to help facilitate and oversee the admissions process, from reviewing the referrals to coordinating with the hospital discharge planners and the families, to ensuring a smooth arrival and welcome to the facility. You will also be a part of the interdisciplinary team and help educate our residents and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and warm personality and be self-driven to help maintain a high census and skilled mix.
Responsibilities: Admissions Director
Assist with directing the admissions process and ensure appropriate placement, coordinate admission documentation.
Help ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, residents, employees and visitors.
Participate in the facility sales and marketing team in developing and implementing the business development plan.
Provide prospective residents and their families with facility and program specific information via phone and through tours.
Ensure room readiness and optimal bed availability.
Evaluate potential residents for clinical and financial appropriateness.
Requirements: Admissions Director
A minimum of 1-2 years’ nursing home experience preferred.
A minimum of 1-2 years' admissions or marketing experience preferred.
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
