$125,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yrJob detailsOpportunity to come work for a startup company aimed to create a digitally native sports and collegiate licensing and marketing platform that will become the dominant player globally!We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development and Customer Relations Director to join our team. This role will be integral in driving our business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and maintaining valuable customer relationships. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a particular emphasis on licensing operations.Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that will ensure the company's long-term growth and profitability.Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, and negotiate contracts to secure these opportunities.Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.Oversee licensing operations.Collaborate with other departments to ensure that business development strategies align with the company's overall strategic goals.Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and adjust business development strategies as necessary.Provide leadership and guidance to the business development team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.Prepare and present reports on business development activities and results to senior management.Qualifications

MBA degree preferred.Division 1 athlete or similar athletic background preferred.10+ years of experience in business development and customer relations roles, with at least 5 years at the leadership level in companies with significant licensing operations.Working knowledge of the team licensing space, with preference towards Football/Soccer.Proven track record in digital marketing and thought leadership.Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performance teams in complex, multi-brand environments.Strong analytical skills with experience in leveraging market data to drive strategic decisions and operational improvements.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, board members, licensor partners, celebrities, and athletes.Experience in troubleshooting complex issues and maintaining existing relationships while identifying new opportunities.Proven ability to develop and implement customer experience strategies that drive growth and brand value.Deep understanding of brand management, licensing operations, and the interplay between licensor requirements and customer needs.Seniority level
