We are seeking a
Specimen Management Associate
to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in
Valencia, CA.Shift:

If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.As a Specimen Management Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring complete traceability and accountability of all samples collected, received, and/or shipped.What you’ll be doing:Ensuring all samples are accurately identified, sorted, and labeled for testing and/or storage.Identifying errors or potential problems and escalating to senior level staff.Notifying customers of receipt and engaging as necessary regarding routine inquiries.Maintaining freezer and inventory.Guiding entry level staff on basic department procedures and assisting with onboarding of new staff.Supporting and responding to after-hour alarms and/or other job critical functions.Supporting safety, quality, and 6S requirements and initiatives.Notifying appropriate staff of supply shortages.What We Are Looking For:High school diploma required.Shipping and receiving experience preferred.Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:Basic knowledge of laboratory systems and procedures.Good working knowledge of relevant procedures.Knowledge of GLP regulations preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.What We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
