Marketing Intern
Do you love sports and dream of a career in Marketing? The City of Peoria offers an exciting Internship at the Peoria Sports Complex, perfect for students looking to gain real-world experience in Sports Marketing Management during the Spring Training season.
As an intern, you'll work closely with TWO Major League Baseball teams—the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. You’ll network with corporate sponsors, participate in marketing activation, assist with game day operations, and help execute in-game promotions. You’ll also have the chance to explore areas like sales, ticketing, and production, making this a well-rounded opportunity to launch your career in sports.
Regular Duties Include:
Prepare for games and introduce clients/sponsors.Handle office tasks and administrative duties.Run in-game promotions and fulfill sponsorship commitments.Distribute exit coupons and assist with post-game activities.Expectations:
Work at least 3 games/15 hours per week (including one game Monday-Thursday).Stick to your schedule, finding a substitute if needed.Run in-game promotions independently or with limited to no supervision.Additional Opportunities:
