Job Summary:Acquisition Professionals LLC is seeking Contract Support Specialists to provide cradle- to-grave acquisition, procurement, and leasing support to Agency and affiliated facilities. Support includes acquisitions for architect and engineering services, building construction and alteration, facility operation and maintenance, professional services, information technology, supplies and services, and the award and management of grants and cooperative agreements. An active SECRET Security Clearance is required for this position.

Telework is allowed for this project, but the contractor must come into the office in Alexandria, VA two days per month.

Responsibilities:

Prepare solicitation packages for the assigned contract action for review and approvalProvide the necessary support in preparing market research, IGCE, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)Provide procurement assistance, advice, and guidance to the customer as neededPrepare solicitation packages and other documentsPrepare award document for review and approval.Prepare contract modification requirements for review and approvalAssist with all assigned close-out of contracts and track metrics to record funds returned to the customer or the US Treasury Prepare all required documentation supporting each contract modification and any additional supporting documentation needed to comply with policy and regulation.Prepare ULO reduction and fund recovery modification documentation for review and approvalPrepare a monthly report identifying the total reduction and fund amount recoveredPrepare closeout of all assigned contracts with the timeframes specifiedPrepare and disseminate all documentation including, completion of forms, final modifications and closeout letters for review and signature of the KO Review contract files and determine whether the past performance evaluation required has been completedPrepare quick closeout, when applicable, following the guidelines for review and approvalStore all digitized contract files on the Records Management Application under the file folder "Contract Closeout" or folder determined by Customer

Required Qualifications/Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university2-3 years experience in the use and application of the primary contract writing tool for DoD known as the Standard Procurement System (SPS), which is also known by its application name Procurement Desktop 2 (PD2).At least one of the following certifications:DAWIA Level I Acquisition Certification National Contract Management Association (NCMA)Certified Federal Contracts ManagerNCMA Certified Professional Contracts ManagerActive Secret Security ClearanceMust be a US Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

At least four (4) years of experience and ability to provide high quality contract administration, close-out services, and pre and post award activities for varied and complex requirements; and shall be able to produce contracts, modifications and associated supporting documents with minimal, if any, oversight or rework.Proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat and other federal government procurement applications, including Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
