Job SummaryInformation Technology Services (ITS) at the MCCCD is looking for a Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM). Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer, the Director of IAM will use industry best practices to architect and manage all identity and access management-related functions. The Director oversees identity and access management activities, including strategy, roadmaps, and implementation plans using technology such as Azure, Google Cloud Services, Active Directory, Single Sign-On, and multifactor authentication (MFA).
Essential Functions
Oversees IAM activities, methodologies, and solutions around access control, authentication, authorization, account provisioning, approvals, and workflows.
Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of staff.
Directs needs assessments to develop IAM strategies and technology roadmap.
Develops, implements, and monitors activities such as account management and access reviews.
Manages and administers budgets and expenditures.
Works closely with vendors to procure technology and services.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in any area and six (6) years of professional experience in identity and access management, which includes two years of supervisory experience.
Desired Qualifications
Eight years of experience leading IAM projects.
Experience applying information security best practices in an IAM environment.
Experience communicating and presenting information to Executives.
Current industry certifications in technology related fields.
Special Working ConditionsThe position is located in Tempe, AZ, with occasional in-person meetings.
