Position Summary
SAP EWM Lead
should possess strong problem-solving and innovative thinking skills. Responsible for supporting day to day IT functions associated with SAP- EWM / WM and related SAP modules. This position is responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements and translating functional needs into technical solutions. The candidate will support the IT team in functional expertise to lead configure, test, support and implement SAP EWM, and logistics execution solutions.
Position Responsibilities
Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirements and then to develop and map solutions in the SAP system.
Evaluate business requirements and provide solutions in SAP EWM and WM area.
Architect, Deploy and Support SAP solutions including SAP S/4 HANA EWM & WM area.
Lead and provide an integrated approach of EWM touch points with Logistics, Procurement, Supply chain Planning and Management including OTM, IBP, and MES.
Lead SAP EWM technical vision to leverage best practices and drive maximum business value.
Apply technology to complex processes with a drive toward relentless simplification.
Manage a team for delivering technical architecture, analysis, design solutions and integrations using SAP and other applications to satisfy business needs.
Guide the team in designing and developing technology solutions using a variety of platforms and tools.
Define business requirements as per discussion with various stakeholders.
Keep up to date on the latest SAP technology stack and act as strategic advisor to business for how to leverage SAP products and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience with SAP Business Suit 4 HANA(S/4HANA) is required.
Previous business/ manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
Good Understanding of FIORI apps.
Six (6) years of experience with SAP Logistic execution with at least 3 years of experience in SAP EWM.
Knowledge of STO/PO/SO stock transfers, Material Management/MM, Shipment cost, SAP Logistics.
Familiar with CIF Queries, Inbound Process, Outbound Process, Shipping labels, PPF Custom definitions, EWM Shipment integration, TU Loading.
Experience on Picking process and the exception codes that have been used, like NEXT, SPLT, BIDU, BIDF etc.
Should have hands-on optimizing resource utilization, master data, RF customization, Multilevel Handling units.
An understanding of accounting business processes is required.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are required.
The ability to be adaptable, capable, self-motivated, and confident is required.
