Location: San Jose, CAJob Duties:
Evaluate customer requirements (requirement gathering) and assist management in planning and designing efficient software systems and products.Build performance efficient, highly scalable, configurable, and available software applications and systems.Define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.Design, develop, and test high throughput back-end software systems.Develop object-oriented software and design, code, and test complex software features.Lead code review sessions and identify/fix performance, scalability, and other live software issues.Segment and design technical system layers for componentized software application development.Collaborate with engineers, managers, product management, quality analysts, and operations teams to develop innovative solutions.Write efficient and highly scalable software code for billing systems handling millions of records daily.Work with the infrastructure team to design workflow chains for product delivery.Test implemented software features and ensure optimal performance.Train new employees and assist with onboarding.Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.Special Skill Requirements:
