Community Alliance is seeking a Division Manager for our Homeless Services. This will be a leader who has knowledge of identifying and supporting persons experiencing symptoms of mental illness and struggles with substance use. This leader will also have an understanding of the barriers faced by persons experiencing homelessness, including systems issues, accessing resources, and the trauma of being homeless. This leader will support the outreach team through training and supervision. This manager will also support the recovery support team as they help clients secure and maintain housing. Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation of client engagement, including regular grant reporting, is a critical part of this position.

Responsibilities:

Articulate and actively promote on a daily basis the rehabilitative and recovery-focused purpose of all program activities and interactions.Supervise and consistently serve as a role model in the establishment and daily practice of quality and best practice standards of service within the program managed.Provide leadership in initiating programmatic and organizational processes and change to improve effectiveness and further the accomplishment of organizational mission and program goals and objectives.Identify and implement action steps necessary for reaching specific quantitative and qualitative program goals and objectives; focus on desired end results of work effort on individual, team, and organizational basis.Assign workloads, staff responsibilities, and program resources equitably and in accordance with identified program and organizational goals and objectives.Regularly participate and positively contribute to management team meetings, organizational meetings, internal planning processes, intra-agency and program committees, program development initiatives, and other organizational initiatives and functions.Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in social work, rehabilitation, counseling, or other directly relevant field from an accredited academic institution.Current professional licensure in good standing in the State of Nebraska as follows: Mental health professional (LMHP, LIMHP); provisional licensure (PLMHP) acceptable if actively working and making sustained progress toward achieving full licensure.Minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience in working with individuals with mental health, co-occurring mental health and/or substance use disorders, community rehabilitation, and/or integrated primary and behavioral healthcare.Minimum three (3) years demonstrated direct supervisory, management, and/or other successful leadership experience.
