The User Researcher’s responsibilities include partnering with internal departments (UX & Product Management) to collect and centralize knowledge, build and execute research plans, analyze data, and leverage contacts through networking. This role will be involved in the scientific process, ethnographic research, and will focus on qualitative over quantitative research.Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive user research plans to inform product strategy and designConduct qualitative and quantitative research to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain pointsCreate and deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on research findingsCollaborate closely with design and product teams to translate research insights into product improvementsAssist Product Management and UX Teams to execute the most appropriate and efficient research explorations to drive product innovationAdvocate for the user throughout the product development lifecyclePresent research findings and recommendations to leadershipRequired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX researchDemonstrated proficiency in a variety of research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, usability testing, surveys, A/B testing)Proven track record of working with data to generate valuable insights geared toward a product development lifecycleProven ability to facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings to both technical and non-technical audiencesCase studies where your research has impacted how & why a shipped product was designed the way it wasAbility to manage solo projects start-to-finish while also working in a collaborative environment maintaining open communicationExpertise in data analysis tools, prototyping software, and user research services$136,000 - $158,000 a year

In addition to the above salary, this role may be eligible for a bonus.
